As the recipient of the 2018 Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize, vibraphonist and drummer Jonny Mansfield was given the opportunity to record his debut album Elftet on the Edition Records label. Jonny has subsequently decided to tour the album and they will be performing at Scarborough Jazz Festival, rescheduled for Febuary next year as previously mentioned on JAZZ LOCKDOWN. Jonny is no stranger to the festival however as he also performed last year on drums as part of the band Bonsai. His ‘Elftet’ includes fellow Bonsai members brothers Rory and Dominic Ingham on trombone and violin & vocals respectively.
