As restrictions are eased, live music is returning and it is some of the region’s festivals leading the way. Hull Jazz Festival Summer Edition runs 22-24 July at Hull Truck Theatre with a line-up including Snake Davis, Kate Peters and big band singing Ella Fitzgerald, Apphia Campbell and a specially commissioned performance by hometown heroes The Broken Orchestra with a celebration for a brighter tomorrow.
You best hurry though – word is that tickets are already selling out for many of the performances.
