If you’ve listened to many of the jazz recordings now regarded as classic albums, you’ll have heard Jim Hall’s playing. A jazz guitarist who created several iconic recordings under his own name such as ‘Concierto’ on the CTI label, he also famously collaborated with Sonny Rollins on a strong of albums such as ‘The Bridge’ and on ‘Undercurrent’ with Bill Evans.
This documentary celebrates a true great of jazz who was influential on several generations of fellow guitarists and recognised as one of the greats.
