Live streams are quickly becoming the music industry’s primary way to entertain and Vortex Jazz is one of the many great platforms for jazz musicians to carry on doing what they love under the current climate. Tomorrow (Thursday 4th of June) North-East based bassist and composer/bandleader John Pope (who was booked to bring his quintet to Scarborough Jazz Club in April) will be streaming a solo set, and then many more great artists are booked for the weeks to come.
